All my life I have dreamed of diving in the ocean and swimming the depths. I grew up watching movies and often pretended that I was scuba diving at the pool. Swimming came natural to me but not until recently was I able to live my dream. In 2004, while in Italy, I finally got my chance to get certified and see what it was like down there.  Since then, my wife Denice has become a diver and our daughter Morgan will soon follow. The following pages are simple pics to share our adventures with you. We hope you enjoy.

What is SCUBA diving ?

Websters defines SCUBA diving as: (S)elf (C)ontained (U)nderwater (B)reathing (A)pparatus A apparatus containing compressed air for beathing while swimming underwater.

Many people are put off by the idea of beathing while underwater.  I think it is the lack of knowledge that scares them. I have to admit that before I took the course, I had no idea how it all worked either. Here is a good link that describes how it all works.     HOW STUFF WORKS.COM
