Paris France April 2005

This was the best trip ever! Paris is very expensive but worth it. We stayed only four days but we packed alot in and loved every minute.  Here are a few tips.. - Fly in to Charles De Gaulle. Flying into any other airport is not worth the  hassle. - If you book a hotel through the USO ask about booking fees.  We got ripped for  112 Euro. - Make sure your hotel is close to a Metro station. - Buy the Art passes for the museums but keep in mind that kids are free. The various outlets will not tell you that. - Get a good map with Metro stops listed.  Get a good Metro map.  The Metro is confusing at first but not impossible. - Euro Disney is worth it !!!  ( space Mountain ROCKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!! ) - Buy your disney tickets at a train staion or the Disney store on Champs Elysee. This will save you from having to stand in line. - "Moulin Rouge" is in the red light district.

The Eiffel Tower is 300 meters ( 984 feet ) tall.    We went to the very top. I suggest doing it at night. Every hour on the hour after dark, it lights up with thousands of strobe flashes which makes it "sparkle "
